I am happily married to my wife of 17 years, Mandy. We have two boys, Ryder (12) and Gage (8). We are excited to live in the town we both grew up in. As a family we love to play golf, camp, and explore the world we live in aboard our motorcycles, snowshoes, and kayaks. Living in northeast Washington affords us the luxury of playing outside. Work hard, play hard, and never give up are the words that we live by!
I attended Eastern Washington University from 1997 to 2001 where I earned a BS and BAE in Biology, along with a General Science Endorsement. In 2006 I completed my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction at EWU. While attending EWU as an undergraduate, I was able to work for three years under two different professors conducting forestry research in our local area and freshwater ecology on Lake Roosevelt and various lakes in the Colville and Kaniksu National Forest. After graduating from EWU, I taught at Jemtegaard Middle School in Washougal, WA from 2001 to 2003. In 2003 I returned to teach and coach here in Chewelah.
